The promoter is Waste Management NZ Limited (NZ company number 1795427) of 318 East Tamaki Road, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013 (WMNZ). By entering into this promotion, you agree to be bound by all these terms and conditions (Terms).
The Spring Promotion 2024 (Promotion) will commence at 1.00 am on 1 September 2024 and closes at 11.59 pm on 30 September 2023 (Promotion Period).
WMNZ is giving eligible customers (Participants) the change to win one of five $100 gift cards from Woolworths, Bunnings, or Mitre 10 (Prize).
To enter, Participants must book and pay for a WMNZ eligible residential product or service (Eligible Residential Products) online or at an authorised retail outlet during the Promotion Period.
Eligible Residential Products include: General Waste and Garden Waste Wheelie Bin services (including PayAsUGO and WMGO; Purchase of a PayAsUGO service qualifies for one entry into Promotion). Skip Bins; FlexiBins® purchased for residential use. (FlexiBin® Trade products are not Eligible Residential Products.) Please note that not all Eligible Residential Products are available in all areas. Entry is automatic and the more Eligible Residential Products a Participant purchases, the more chances they have to win.
Purchases of a FlexiBin® residential product and collection service are only Eligible Residential Products if the collection is booked and paid for during the Promotion Period (regardless of when the FlexiBin® residential product was purchased). If a FlexiBin® residential product is purchased within the Promotion Period but a collection is not booked and paid for until after expiry of the Promotion Period, it will not be an Eligible Residential Product.
Participants must be 18 years of age or over and be a New Zealand resident to be eligible to enter the Promotion.
Employees of WMNZ and their families are not entitled to enter the Promotion.
There is no limit to the number of entries per Participant. Each purchase of an Eligible Residential Product during the Promotion Period will be eligible for one entry into the Promotion.
WMNZ reserves the sole right to verify the validity of any entry and reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who WMNZ considers may have tampered with the entry process, acted in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest or inappropriate manner or breaches these Terms. WMNZ’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be determined by a draw from all valid entries. The draw will be completed by on or about 9 October 2024 (Draw Date). Five valid entries randomly drawn from the pool of entries will each win one of the five Prizes. The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Winners can nominate which store they want their Prize from out of Woolworths, Bunnings, or Mitre 10. WMNZ will use reasonable commercial endeavors to oblige a winner’s nomination, but all Prizes are subject to availability and WMNZ reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a gift card from another store.
The winners will be notified by email or phone using the details provided on entry to the Promotion. If a winner cannot be contacted either by telephone and/or does not respond to email, within five working days of the draw, that winner will automatically forfeit their win, and another winner will be randomly redrawn from the pool of entries on the same terms as the original draw. This will happen until all winners are confirmed and notified. A working day is a day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in Auckland.
The winners will have their details published on the WMNZ website for 2 weeks following the Draw Date. By accepting a Prize, each winner confirms acceptance of all these Terms and explicitly consents to their name and/or photograph being used for such publicity and marketing purposes as reasonably determined by WMNZ.
WMNZ will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems.
WMNZ and its related companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering the Promotion or claiming/winning any Prize, or availing themselves of any Prize, except as required by law. Subject only to payment of the Prize, to the extent that despite the previous sentence WMNZ is found to be liable to any person in relation to or in connection with this competition, on whatever basis, then WMNZ’s liability is, in all circumstances, capped at $1.00.
WMNZ’s decision in respect of any dispute or interpretation of these Terms is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any Participant or third party. WMNZ reserves the right to cancel or change any aspect of this Promotion at any time without notice.
All entries remain the property of WMNZ. All personal information collected will be held by WMNZ in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and WMNZ’s privacy policy. Under the Privacy Act 2020, Participants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Participants may correct any of their details, or withdraw their acceptance of these Terms and their eligibility for the Promotion, by sending an email to orders@wm.nz
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. WMNZ may extend, cancel, or amend this competition and/or review and update these terms, by notice given on it’s website at any time, at its sole discretion.
