Redvale Landfill has donated over $100,000 to Dairy Flat Community Trust, supporting local projects, students, and organisations.

Some of you may know that Redvale Landfill & Energy Park provides landfill gas and hot water to a neighbouring greenhouse complex.
The Dairy Flat Community Trust annual funding presentation was held last weekend at our Redvale Landfill and Energy Park.
Whitford and Redvale landfill & energy parks are bidding a fond farewell to two of their oldest generators. Each of the generators is now installed and ready to kick into action. The generators are what enable us to convert landfill gas to electricity – and make Waste Management Auckland’s largest producer of renewable energy.
Our modern engineered landfills play an important role in protecting the environment. Capturing over 90% of the biogas produced from waste and turning it into electricty, our Redvale Landfill & Energy Park is Auckland’s largest renewable energy generator.
Independent commissioners have approved Waste Management’s resource consent applications for Auckland Regional Landfill.
